Five Year Anniversary Celebration | October 22, 2015

Art House Dallas celebrated its five year anniversary on Thursday, October 22, 2015 and called Everyone to Imagine Dallas as a major cultural capital by being a city that loves not only the arts but also its artists! 



Art House Exchange | September 17, 2015

The Exchange is Art House Dallas' semi-monthly pub gathering, providing active creators an opportunity for collaboration and discussion.The evening includes facilitated yet casual discussion in groups of 6-8 for 45 minutes, and then opens up for a time for general conversation and networking.


For The Love Of Words | August 11, 2015

Every writer hangs words in their just position so as to give space to the world seen within. Only the right words will do and serve that world well. For the Love of Words is an evening intended specifically for writers, to gather together for the sake of community, discussion and, of course, words.


Songwriter's Dinner | June 26, 2015

Fellow songwriters met for dinner and engaging conversation. After dinner, everyone shared songs they are working on, played songs everyone knew and encouraged each other to jump on harmonies, guitar, piano and vocals.

Music & Copyrights | June 6th, 2015

Students from Texas A&M University School of Law presented, “Music and Copyrights, The Legal Aspects of the Music Business” addressing copyright, licensing, and infringement issues facing artists in the music industry. This presentation was followed by a panel discussion from attorneys in the entertainment industry.


Earth Day Texas | April 25, 2015

At the Hall of State Stage in Fair Park, 1,000 booths filled with food and activity, served as the primary location of Earth Day Texas. This event was marked by several local artist including our own, Cary Pierce, and the Art House Dallas Photo Booth.


Dinner With Friends | October 15th, 2014

Dinner with Friends is an event geared toward enriching creatives by having a speaker who specializes in a particular art form come and share his/her wisdom over conversation and a delicious meal. This is a repeated event, which is designed for a different vocation each time.

Art House Dallas is pleased to announce Stories and Songs :: An Intimate Evening with Gungor. As a way of saying thank you for your support, encouragement and enthusiasm we hope you will join us as we gather friends together around music, stories and a community celebration!


Handmade II :: Sweet Treats for Valentines

At this especially festive HANDMADE session we explored the sweeter side of hospitality by making desserts: delicious shortbread cookies dipped in chocolate, savory jalapeno jelly thumbprints, strawberries Romanoff and chocolate pot de cremes from Sarah Seay of One Pink Cookie. On Tuesday, June 25th, we gathered at All Saints Dallas for an intimate, acoustic evening full of beautiful music, thoughtful stories, and engaging conversation with Page CXVI and O, Loveland. Da Vinci's Table is a time for painters and visual artists to gather to connect and collaborate with like-minded individuals. Da Vinci's Table is an event where one can indulge in a good meal while investing in both relationships and your art form.

Giant Christmas Soiree

On December 19th at the Foundry, Art House Dallas partnered with Walk the Light, Deep Ellum Outdoor Market, Reap Marketing, Traffick911, and CreateGate for one GIANT Christmas Soiree. The Dallas Family Band was there to entertain the masses with live music too. There was an Angel-tree of sorts with small gift-priced donations for the safe house Triumph House at Traffick911. 2 Year Anniversary Celebration

Last Thursday, we celebrated our two-year anniversary, we are indeed growing up! It was one of the first chilly nights of fall, but despite the cold drizzle outside, Vino 100 was full to the brim with wonderful friends of Art House. Cozy for conversations, the space was dimly lit, only brightened by the intermittent camera flash from our photo booth. We sipped on wine and munched on cheese, cupcakes, and cookies made by our very own Sarah Seay!

We wouldn't be here without your continued support over the last two years- the help, the dedication and all of the wonderful friendships! Summer Colors | A Silent Art Auction

Summer Colors, now in its fourth year, was an idea born out of passion for raising awareness about Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children; while also giving the Dallas community exposure to local up and coming artists. Jenny Grumbles, Loren Koziol, and Jill and Dupree Scovell founded Summer Colors in 2009 and have continued to grow the event over the past four years. He spoke about his vision in founding Help-Portrait, an international movement of photographers that help those in need by using their talents. It is often difficult to find a sounding board for ideas, or simply to discuss artistic issues with like-minded people. We hope that the Art House Exchange will be a watering hole for many of you, both socially and spiritually. Art House Dallas will be defined more by the people involved than by the building in which we meet.

175 friends gathered from all over DFW and beyond to hear about our mission over lunch at Life in Deep Ellum. In addition to live performances by Sleeperstar and Sandra McCracken, we heard from Co-Founders Charlie Peacock and Andi Ashworth. Following the lunch was a panel of musicians (Joy Williams, Sandra McCracken, Jillian Edwards, Cary Pierce, Kate Miner) along industry experts (Joshua Jackson, Paste Magazine & Nate Yetton, Civil Wars Manager) who talked about the state of the music business followed by Q&A.
